Your best ad audience is sixty miles south

Google and Meta ads managed for a flat $150 a month, aimed at the people who drive up here to spend money.

Stop advertising in a circle around Denison

Almost every ad account we inherit from a Denison business has the same setting: a ten or fifteen mile radius around the shop. It feels obviously right. It is usually wrong.

Denison has about 24,000 people. Draw a fifteen mile ring and you have captured a modest audience who, for the most part, already know you exist. You are paying to advertise to people who drive past your sign.

The money is south. A weekend at Lake Texoma gets planned from Plano, Frisco, McKinney, and Allen, by people with disposable income who have never heard of your restaurant, your rental, or your shop. They are deciding on a Tuesday where to spend Saturday. That decision is entirely up for grabs, and almost nobody in Denison is bidding for it.

This is not a reason to abandon local advertising. Locals keep you alive in February. But if your ad budget is spent entirely inside a ring around your own building, you are competing hardest for the customers you were most likely to get anyway.

Audiences worth paying for

Four different jobs, four different setups. Most Denison accounts only run the first one.

Local, tight radius

Cheap, reliable, and it keeps the lights on in the off season. Keep it. Just do not let it be everything.

DFW metro, planning window

Radius targeting around the northern suburbs, timed Tuesday to Thursday when weekend plans get made.

Lake and travel intent

Search campaigns on lake and getaway terms. The searcher is not here yet, which is exactly the point.

Retargeting site visitors

Someone looked at your page in March and did not book. Reaching them again in May costs almost nothing and converts better than any cold audience.

What the $150 covers

Flat monthly management on top of your $49 website. Ad budget is separate and paid straight to the platforms.

Geographic targeting that matches your customers

Built around where your customers live, which in Denison is frequently not Denison. We set radius, exclusions, and bid adjustments to match.

Seasonal budget planning

Spend weighted toward the months that produce revenue, and toward the days of the week when weekend decisions happen.

Tracking that survives a sixty mile gap

Someone who clicks in Plano and shows up on Saturday is easy to lose in the reporting. We set up call tracking and conversion tracking so that visit gets attributed.

Monthly report

Spend, leads, cost per lead, and what we changed. Local and out-of-market broken out separately, because they perform differently.

How we are different

We know which weekends matter

We are fifteen minutes away in Pottsboro. The rhythm of a lake-adjacent town is not something we had to research.

Your budget stays yours

Paid directly to Google and Meta, never marked up, never routed through us.

$150 flat, not a percentage of spend

We do not earn more by talking you into a bigger budget.

You own the accounts

In your name, with the history and audiences intact if you ever leave.

Proof, not promises

Justin professionally designed my new business website, which I am very proud to display and share with customers. The research and care Justin provided in the design is above and beyond my expectations. He knows all the “behind the scenes” knowledge to have a website perform to promote your services. Justin very patiently answered all my questions and made edits I requested. I feel best positioned to move forward with my business for success! I highly recommend Justin for all website design.

Digital Marketing in Denison: common questions

Why would I advertise to people in Dallas?

Because they drive up here and spend money. A family planning a lake weekend from Frisco has a bigger budget for the trip than a local has for a Tuesday lunch, and they have no existing habit about where to spend it. That decision gets made on a phone, days ahead, from somewhere else.

Do we run ads year round?

Usually not at the same level. Weighting spend toward the months that produce revenue makes far more sense here than a flat twelve month budget. There is often a case for a smaller always-on local campaign underneath it, so you stay visible in the quiet months.

How do you know an ad brought someone from sixty miles away?

Call tracking numbers, conversion tracking on form fills and bookings, and platform-side location reporting. It is not flawless. Some walk-ins will never be traceable to an ad and we will not pretend otherwise. But you get a defensible picture rather than a guess.

We are a downtown retailer, not a tourism business. Is this relevant?

Probably, yes. Visitors who come for the lake end up downtown with time to spend. You do not need to position yourself as a tourism business to benefit from being in front of people who are already planning to be in your town.

What if I only want local ads?

That is fine and sometimes correct, particularly for trades and home services where the customer has to be nearby. We would rather run a tight local campaign well than talk you into an audience that does not fit what you sell.
