Connected Google Accounts
Polygon Core and our private reporting tools can connect to a Google account with your authorization. We use your account email to identify the connection. Read-only Google Analytics access lets us list available properties and retrieve traffic and conversion reports for the property connected to your workspace. Read-only Search Console access lets us retrieve verified-site information and search-performance reports for authorized sites.
Our private operator reporting tool also requests Google Ads access to retrieve authorized account and campaign performance. Google provides a broader Ads permission even for reporting; this integration uses it for reports, not to edit campaigns. Polygon Core does not request Google Ads permission.
We use connected Google data to provide the reports and services you authorize. We do not sell this data, use it to serve or target advertisements, or use it to train general-purpose artificial intelligence or machine-learning models. Access is limited to authorized workspace users, Polygon operators providing your services, and service providers needed to host, store, and process those reports. We may also access or disclose data as necessary for security or to comply with applicable law.
Connection credentials are kept on our servers or private operator systems, rather than sent to the client portal browser. Polygon Core encrypts stored OAuth tokens. We retain credentials while a connection is active and retain reporting history to provide your services. Disconnecting removes our stored connection credentials and stops future imports; previously imported reports may remain. To request deletion of stored Google data, contact justin@polygonseo.com.
You can revoke Google access at any time through your Google Account connections. You can also ask Polygon to disconnect your workspace. Revoking access does not delete your original Google Analytics, Search Console, or Google Ads data.
Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with:
- Service providers who assist in our operations
- Professional advisers (lawyers, accountants)
- Law enforcement when required by law
